Happy feast of the Most Holy Trinity. Today we are celebrating the mystery of our faith. May the Blessings of the Trinity, the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit fill every corner of your house and bring joy, peace, and good health to all. This blessing unites us with the past, present, and future. We celebrate with joy, God the Father, the Creator, the Son, the savior and liberator and the Holy Spirit, the counselor and consoler.

Happy Pentecost celebration even as I take my vacation far away from the United States, I still enjoy sharing reflections with you every Sunday to maintain that bond of love we share together. The theme of my reflection draws its central motif from the poetic imagery of the evocative hymn “Spirit of God in the Clear Running Water” by Miriam Therese Winter in 1965.

In this week Pastor’s Corner, my reflection is focused on Eastertide. What we easily forget is that the Church designed the liturgical calendar to do one major thing, namely, to make Christians live the life of Christ through time. The liturgical year is theologically and spiritually structured to help the Church remember, celebrate, relive, and interiorize the mysteries of salvation.

I share with you a reflection on Pope Leo XIV's visit to Africa. On his third ever international journey since his election as the supreme Pontiff, from 13 April to 23 April 2026, His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, completed a historic 11-day apostolic journey to Africa across four nations: Algeria, Cameroon, Angola, and Equatorial Guinea.

In this week of the Pastor’s Corner, my reflection is on some types of movement that our faith journey may require. This movement may not be that easy, but taking the courageous step to make the journey is itself an act of faith. The readiness to move into an unknown destination trusting only in God’s providence forms the core of my reflection.
