The very essence of Christmas which we just celebrated is the celebration of the Incarnation of the Son of God — the decisive moment in which God entered human history by assuming human nature. >In this singular event, divinity embraced humanity without confusion or diminishment and opened up the window for the economy of our salvation.

The Jubilee Year of 2025, also known as the Ordinary Jubilee of Hope, proclaimed by Pope Francis, ends on January 6, 2026. It began on December 24, 2024, with the opening of the Holy Door at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. What this means is that we stirred the course of 2025 in the context of the Jubilee Year of Hope!

Have you ever considered that your baptism was not just a ceremony, but a consecration—a setting apart for something sacred?

I wish to draw our hearts to this powerful truth, namely: that we are a people consecrated to prayer. And this consecration began the day we were plunged into the waters of Baptism.

As we gradually approach Christmas and as well come to the end of the year 2025, I say Merry Christmas and happy New Year.

As a community of faith, you have been the most amazing community to work with. You come into the church filled with hope and your face express the love you have for God.

As we enter the season of advent I wish to reflect on the recent document from the Vatican on our Mother Mary. There is no doubt that we live in a time when devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary enjoys great vitality. At the same time, theological precision and clarity are necessary so that our love for Mary remains rooted in Christ and in the apostolic faith.

As we enter this great season of Advent, I center the theme of our reflection: Hear the Herald’s Voice Resounding a title of an advent hymn which original Latin title is “Vox clara ecce intonat.” This Advent hymn of an unknown author has been around since the 5th Century in the Church and is sometimes incorrectly attributed to St. Ambrose, but modern scholarship considers it not Ambrosian.
